Martha’s Vineyard Lighthouse (2015)

This is a painting of Edgartown Harbor Light on Martha’s Vineyard, in Edgartown MA. Edgartown is a charming town, where all of the houses and shops are designed in a classic Greek Revival style built by whaling captains. They filmed many scenes from the original Jaws here. We were in Martha’s Vineyard, located near Cape Cod, for only a day and were short on time, as we had to catch the last ferry back to the mainland. We had our uber wait for us as we ran out to the lighthouse, took a quick peak, and ran back. We made it back to the heart of Edgartown in time for our bus back to the ferry dock and had enough time to grab some delicious homemade ice cream for the trip back.
